Four Women Begin a New Journey in Tailoring
What begins as a skill can become an opportunity for a better future.
Four participants who successfully completed the first batch of the Tailoring Training Programme conducted by Amogha Foundation have taken an important step forward by coming together to start their own tailoring unit, with the support of Amogha Foundation.
The training programme was designed not only to provide tailoring skills, but also to encourage participants to explore opportunities for self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.
After successfully completing their training, these four women decided to take the next step together. With the continued support and encouragement of Amogha Foundation, they started their tailoring unit and are now steadily developing their work.
Their journey is a meaningful example of how skill development, confidence, teamwork and the right support can turn training into an opportunity for livelihood.
